Former WWE talent Elayna Black is taking an indefinite break from professional wrestling.
The former Cora Jade posted a statement on X, stating that she is “Going to be taking a break from wrestling for the foreseeable future. It’s no longer good for my mental health, and I’ll never know if that love for it I once had will return if I don’t step away.”
Black went on to say that she will take the rest of the year to “take care of me and go from there.”
The 24-year-old signed with WWE in January 2021 and debuted as Cora Jade, where she wrestled in NXT until her release this past May.
She has been wrestling on the independent scene since June.
Black was originally advertised for GCW’s Bash at the Ballpark this Saturday to team with Priscilla Kelly, but did not wrestle. Instead, Kelly teamed with 1 Called Manders & Matt Tremont against VNDL48.
