Athena will challenge Timeless Toni Storm for the AEW Women’s Championship at Forbidden Door.
On Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite, the ROH Women’s Champion pinned Storm in a tag match after landing the O Face.

The next night on Collision, Athena stated she would sign her Casino Gauntlet contract for a guaranteed title match to challenge Storm on August 24 at the O2 Arena. She noted Storm having bad luck in London previously, including losing the AEW Women’s title at All In 2023 at Wembley Stadium.
It is the third match confirmed for the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door show:
