Brock Lesnar returned to WWE on Sunday at the conclusion of SummerSlam.

Lesnar emerged after Cody Rhodes prevailed in the main event to regain the WWE Championship from John Cena.

He made his way to the ring and delivered an F5 to Cena just before the show went off the air.

Brock Lesnar has not been seen on WWE programming since SummerSlam 2023. The 48-year-old is named in Janel Grant’s amended lawsuit against Vince McMahon and WWE.

While Lesnar is not named as a defendant, it is alleged that McMahon offered Grant up to him for sex. She alleges that she was supposed to participate in a sexual encounter with Lesnar, but that it never occurred.

The lawsuit also alleges that McMahon directed Grant to create personalized sexual content for Lesnar. In one instance, it is alleged that a video of Grant urinating was requested. The suit claims she complied with this request, under psychological duress.

In the initial lawsuit filed by Janel Grant on 25 January 2024, Brock Lesnar was not mentioned by name. The complaint referred to a “world-famous athlete and former UFC Heavyweight Champion.”

On 31 January 2025, Grant’s legal team filed an amended complaint. In this revised document, Brock Lesnar was explicitly named as the athlete in question.

The context remained the same: the lawsuit alleges that McMahon offered Grant to Lesnar as a “sexual pawn” to entice him to re-sign with WWE in 2021.

Lesnar’s return comes as WWE quietly dropped its media conferences.

POST Wrestling will have further reporting on Lesnar’s return in the coming days.
