Reigns is currently tied up in one of the promotion’s top storylines, feuding with a faction headed by World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins.
Reigns last appeared on the latest episode of Raw, where he suffered a beatdown at the hands of Rollins, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed. Just a couple of nights prior, Reigns had teamed with Jey Uso at Summerslam to overcome Breakker and Reed in tag action.
The mid-August appearance from Reigns is the only TV booking he’s currently billed for, per WWE’s event calendar. Of course, this doesn’t mean that he won’t make surprise appearances. On the flipside, it’s worth remembering that the cards are subject to change.
The event is also scheduled to feature Gunther, Rhea Ripley, Jey Uso, The New Day, and Penta.
