AEW Collision returned to its regular night and attracted its largest Saturday night audience since June.
The August 9 episode from Roanoke, Virginia, averaged 423,000 viewers and 110,000 viewers (0.08) in the 18-49 demographic on TNT, not including streaming viewership on Max.
It was Collision’s largest audience since June 21.
The show’s viewership grew by three percent from the previous episode, which aired on Thursday, July 31. However, the 18-49 audience dropped by fourteen percent from the show ten days previously.
Compared with the July 31 episode, the 18-49 audience saw a 37 percent decrease among women; however, males in the demo increased by eight percent for the Saturday episode.
Adults 18-34 fell by twenty percent, and adults 35-49 decreased by eleven percent.
Collision ranked #11 among prime-time programs on cable this past Saturday, which was led by three NFL preseason games and the UFC Fight Night card from the Apex.
The UFC main card averaged 636,000 viewers and 0.17 in the 18-49 demographic on ESPN, with the prelims averaging 457,000 viewers and 0.10. The main card ranked #5 and the prelims #7 on cable this past Saturday night.
AEW’s live episode from Virginia was headlined by Hangman Page & JetSpeed vs. LFI, and featured a TNT title match between Kyle Fletcher and Tomohiro Ishii.
