Jacy Jayne will try to fend off a pair of title contenders from TNA Wrestling at NXT’s next Premium Live Event (PLE).

Jayne looks to extend her reign as TNA Knockouts World Champion at NXT Heatwave on August 19 inside The Met in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, when she takes on both Masha Slamovich and Ash By Elegance in a triple threat match.

Jayne has attempted to defend her Knockouts title against both former champ Slamovich and Ash on recent episodes of TNA Impact, although the matchups have ended via disqualification. When Slamovich fought for the belt, Ash interfered. A week later, the roles were reversed.

After the recent run-ins, NXT General Manager Ava announced on Tuesday night that Jayne will defend her title against both in a triple threat bout.

Jayne has held the Knockouts title since mid-July, when she dethroned Slamovich at TNA Slammiversary. The NXT talent has retained the belt twice since then, although she has yet to win a bout clean.

It was also announced on Tuesday night that a triple threat match will take place at Heatwave to find the next challenger for Jayne’s NXT Women’s Championship. Lola Vice, Kelani Jordan, and Jaida Parker will battle it out with a title shot on the line.

Four matches are set for Heatwave thus far. Oba Femi is also expected to defend his NXT Championship as part of the card. Who he will face, either Trick Williams or Je’Von Evans, will be decided on next week’s episode of NXT.

Here’s an updated look at the card:

  • Jacy Jayne vs. Masha Slamovich vs. Ash By Elegance (TNA Knockouts World Championship) (Triple Threat)
  • Lola Vice vs. Kelani Jordan vs. Jaida Parker (NXT Women’s Championship #1 Contenders Match) (Triple Threat)
  • Jordynne Grace vs. Blake Monroe
  • Hank Walker & Tank Ledger vs. DarkState (NXT Tag Team Championships)
