AEW and ROH talent Lee Moriarty will have a major opportunity to showcase his outside-of-the-ring artistry later this year.
It was announced on Wednesday that the current ROH Pure Champion will present an art exhibit titled “Balance” from September 27 to October 18 at the Night Gallery in Los Angeles, California.
The gallery is being curated by Adam Abdalla, founder of Orange Crush, a project showcasing the intersection of art and professional wrestling.
A press release detailed how Moriarty’s gallery focuses on a series of works he has made that reveal a “different side of luchadors … captured not in combat, but in moments of reprieve and solitude.”

Moriarty has shared his art for years. Last year, Moriarty had his “art world debut” at the New Art Dealers Alliance (NADA) in Miami. He previously published prints and has a zine for sale on his online shop.
Orange Crush posted earlier this year that the Perez Art Museum Miami had acquired a piece from Moriarty.
Moriarty has remained active inside the AEW and ROH ring while pursuing art. He’ll be competing in a high-stakes bout on this weekend’s Collision, battling Nigel McGuinness, Hechicero, and Daniel Garcia for a shot against IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Zack Sabre Jr. at Forbidden Door.
