Six-woman tag action featuring the reigning TBS Champion has joined this evening’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
Mercedes Moné will team with Death Triangle’s Thekla and Skye Blue to take on Alex Windsor, Queen Aminata and Willow Nightingale this evening at the Andrew J. Brady Music Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, the promotion announced recently.
The match comes just a couple of weeks before Moné and Windsor battle it out as part of a four-way bout for the TBS Championship at Forbidden Door. Windsor earned her spot in the match by winning a qualifier on Dynamite last week.
Tonight’s show will be Moné’s first TV appearance since early July, when she defended her title in singles action against Mina Shirakawa.
Nightingale and Aminata have both been feuding with the newly-formed trio of Thekla, Blue and Julia Hart, explaining their involvement in the match as well.
