AEW Dynamite drew a 0.13 rating in the 18-49 demo on August 29 — tying its lowest-ever performance in that category for a non-preempted show in its regular Wednesday slot.
The episode averaged 585,000 viewers, a four percent increase from the previous week’s 565,000, according to data from Wrestlenomics.
However, in the P18-49 demographic, the show scored a 0.13 rating, which was down 19 percent from the prior week’s 0.16.
This represents the lowest P18-49 rating for Dynamite since March 5, 2025. The number ties for the lowest demo number of 2025, and the lowest ever P18-49 rating for AEW Dynamite in its regular Wednesday slot.
The 170,000 viewers in the P18-49 demographic ranks the program approximately #4 for the night on cable.
Viewership numbers for the Dynamite’s simulcast on HBO Max are not available.
Based on the quarter-hour data provided by Wrestlenomics, the program’s total viewership peaked in its opening segment. The first 15 minutes, featuring an angle with FTR and Adam Copeland, drew 638,000 viewers.
The show hit its highest mark in the P18-49 demographic during the sixth quarter-hour (9:15 – 9:30 pm), attracting 186,000 viewers in that range for a segment involving Adam Page and The Don Callis Family. The broadcast bottomed out in the fourth quarter (8:45 – 9:00 pm) with 553,000 total viewers and 150,000 in the P18-49 demo.
The main event overrun, which contained the conclusion of the Claudio Castagnoli vs. Darby Allin match, dropped in total viewership to 550,000. However, it saw a gain in the key demographic, rising to 185,000 viewers.
** The P18-49 rating is calculated based on a “universe estimate,” which represents the total number of people within a given demographic in the television-viewing population. Wrestlenomics noted that the current rating is based on the universe estimate for the television season that is about to conclude.
It is currently unknown whether a new estimate is in effect, which could lead to other sources reporting a slightly different P18-49 rating. The current figure was reached by dividing the 170,000 viewers in the demographic by the universe estimate of 134,090,000.
