NXT achieves two-week high in viewership, ranks eighth in demo on Tuesday

NXT had an increase in its viewership this past Tuesday, achieving a two-week high for the show from the Performance Center.

The September 2 program averaged 655,000 viewers and 188,000 viewers (0.14) in the 18-49 demographic on CW.

The show ranked eighth among all programming on Tuesday in the 18-49 demographic. The chart was led by America’s Got Talent (0.40) on NBC, U.S. Open Tennis (0.33) on ESPN, and Bachelor in Paradise (0.24) on ABC.

NXT’s viewership grew by six percent while the 18-49 audience increased by seventeen percent from last week, with both figures the show’s largest in two weeks.

Females in the core demo averaged 60,000 viewers, which was the largest audience in that demo since July 29. Males in the 18-49 demo grew by twelve percent with 128,000 viewers.

Adults 18-34 averaged a 0.09, which is up from last week’s 0.06.

The show featured Oba Femi, Ricky Saints, Hank & Tank facing DarkState in the main event.

NXT avoided the trend of SmackDown, Collision, and Dynamite, which hit all-time viewership lows over the past week.
