The “Mad King” is ready for a fight.

Eddie Kingston, a former AEW Continental Champion who has been out of the ring for over a year due to injury, is angling for his return fight.

Big Bill suddenly called out Kingston on last week’s episode of AEW Collision, looking for a matchup against him.

Now, just days later, Kingston has accepted the challenge laid out by Big Bill and seems ready to take him up for a match sooner than later.

“So got the phone call and the money is right contract is signed on my end,” Kingston said on Threads. “So Big Bill you dumb goofy bastard just send loctation.”

Kingston suffered a multitude of injuries in May 2024 after working a 20-minute match against Gabe Kidd at an NJPW event in Ontario, California. He has spent over a year healing after suffering a torn ACL, a strained meniscus and a fractured tibia.

Kingston noted last month in an interview that he hadn’t yet been medically cleared to compete, but was in the process of gearing up for a return.
