Kelvin Gastelum missed weight yet again and was hit with a significant fine ahead of Noche UFC in Texas.
Gastelum, 33, has had a history of issues making weight at welterweight, but this fight was being contested at 185 pounds.
The TUF Season 17 winner missed the middleweight limit by five pounds, stepping onto the scale at 191 pounds.
Opponent Dustin Stoltzfus has accepted the fight at a catch weight, but Gastelum will be fined 35% of his purse, per MMA Junkie.
Gastelum previously missed weight for fights against Nico Musoke in June 2014 and Tyron Woodley in January 2015. He also had a fight canceled with Donald Cerrone in November 2015 due to weight-cutting issues.
In June 2024, a welterweight fight with Daniel Rodriguez was changed to middleweight because Gastelum had issues cutting weight.
Noche UFC takes place Saturday at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas, and streams on ESPN+ in the U.S.
