Jerry Lawler provides health update, didn’t take medication days before stroke

Jerry Lawler is recovering from his third stroke since 2018 and provided the latest update on his condition.

Lawler, 75, suffered a stroke at a residence in Florida earlier this month but has since been transported to his home in Memphis.

The Hall of Fame wrestler spoke to Valerie Calhoun from Fox 13 in Memphis and shared that he had not been taking his medication in the days before the stroke and is calling it a “minor stroke”.

In the audio message from Lawler, he conveyed having trouble recognizing some of the people visiting him at the hospital with the anchor added that he trouble recognizing his home when he arrived back in Memphis, but otherwise said he felt “pretty good”.

He said he appreciated the “love and support” over the past week since the news of his health ailment broke.

Lawler previous suffered strokes in 2018 and 2023.
