NXT Homecoming results in show’s largest audience in six weeks

NXT Homecoming resulted in the program scoring its largest audience in over a month and ranking among the top ten on Tuesday.

The September 16 Homecoming special from Full Sail University attracted an audience of 737,000 viewers and 228,000 viewers (0.17) in the 18-49 demographic on CW.

The show featured many appearances from main roster stars, along with appearances by Paul Levesque, Shawn Michaels, and William Regal, leading to a 13% audience increase and a 24% gain among the key demographic.

It was NXT’s largest audience since August 5 and its highest audience among its 18-49 audience since August 12.

In the 18-49 demo, NXT ranked #10 among all television programs on Tuesday behind Dancing with the Stars, America’s Got Talent, High Potential, The 1% Club, and a WNBA playoff game between the Indiana Fever and Atlanta Dream on ESPN.

In the key demo, NXT saw its male viewership increase by 21% this week to 155,000 viewers, and females improved by 33% to 80,000 viewers (the largest female audience in the demo since July 29).

Adults 18-34 averaged a 0.12 rating and ranked #2 among all network programming from 8 – 8:30 p.m. and 9:30 – 10 p.m. ET.

Homecoming was headlined by Rhea Ripley, Stephanie Vaquer, and Lyra Valkyria defeating Fatal Influence. It featured appearances by Finn Balor, Sami Zayn, Montez Ford, Bianca Belair, Damian Priest, Bobby Roode, Shayna Baszler, and a tag title defense by Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss.
