Raja Jackson arrested on felony charge following Syko Stu attack at KnokXPro event

UPDATE 9/19: TMZ reports Jackson was booked on a felony charge of battery with serious bodily injury and is now out on bond.

Raja Jackson, the son of MMA star Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, who was seen brutally attacking a professional wrestler at a California independent show last month, has been arrested.

Jackson, 25, was booked on a felony charge on Thursday afternoon, per the Los Angeles Police Department’s inmate information center. TMZ first reported the arrest.

The specific charges he’s facing aren’t listed on the database, although it’s noted that Jackson is currently being held on a $50,000 bail.

Footage captured during a livestream on social media platform Kick last month showed Jackson wailing away with hard punches onto professional wrestler Syko Stu at a KnokX Pro event in Sun Valley, California last month.

The attack stems from a confrontation backstage between Stu and Jackson earlier in the day, with the professional wrestler hitting Jackson over the head with a beer can. While Stu initially asked Jackson if he was going to “sell” the blow, Jackson seemed offended in the moment. Stu was informed by another talent that Jackson wasn’t a wrestler.

In an attempt to calm things between them, Jackson was offered the opportunity to make a run-in during Stu’s match later that evening. Jackson had been told that he would be able to give his “receipt” to Stu when that moment emerged.

Then, in disturbing footage, when the time came to get involved with the show, Jackson laid out a vicious attack on Stu, slamming him to the ground before landing a long series of ground and pound shots, most if not all landing as the wrestler appeared unconscious.

The attack left Stu in the hospital due to a “serious head injury,” with trauma to his upper and lower jaws, a lacerated upper lip, and a fractured maxilla bone, resulting in numerous lost teeth, per a social media post in late August.

The disturbing moment went viral online, causing outrage. Over 6,200 donations were made to support Stu following the attack, with more than $220,000 raised on his GoFundMe as of this week.
