Following pay-per-view action from the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on Saturday night, a few stand-out names from the AEW All Out pay-per-view spoke to the media.

We have compiled quick notes from the hour-and-a-half-long conference, which included appearances from Hangman Adam Page, Kris Statlander, Tony Khan, The Demand, and Brodido.

The full conference can be watched in the embedded video as well:

The Demand (Gates of Agony and Ricochet)

  • Ricochet, riding quite high off their won from this weekend, said the trio has their sights on the AEW Trios Championships.
  • Toa Liona was asked how he felt about this week, as he received a large amount of praise for his match on Wednesday against Bobby Lashley: “It feels right,” he said.
  • Ricochet said his “Ahaa!” isn’t a stolen bit from Jadakiss, but instead something he took from a family member who did a similar noise.
  • Ricochet said he decided to recruit the Gates of Agony after he saw them face The Hurt Syndicate for the first time in April.

Kris Statlander

  • Said it’s “one of the most insane things ever” to finally hold the AEW Women’s World Championship, as she has spent years chasing the title and came so close to winning it before.
  • Asked about her exchange with Wheeler Yuta before the match: “I didn’t say anything to him besides ‘Please get the F away from me.’ I have never invited him to any of my endeavors post-Best Friends related things.” She was hoping that Yuta was the one who could go in a coffin during the Darby vs. Moxley bout.
    • Tony Khan pushed back, noting that Statlander used Yuta’s signature pin to win the match: “Well, Tony, he’s not the only one that has used the seatbelt pin. There have been some greats before him, like Orange Cassidy and Chuck Taylor, who have also maybe used that as a more signature thing. So maybe it was seeing his face reminded me about those things and it’s not exactly Yuta that I’m emulating.”
  • Statlander said she would like her first match as AEW Women’s World Champion to come against Toni Storm. While she has beaten Storm before, including on Saturday, they have never met in a one-on-one bout.
  • When asked if she would join The Conglomeration, Statlander made no promises. She said Harley Cameron has been the only one believing in her recently and understands that past mistakes might make some on the roster not want to associate with her.

Brodido (Bandido & Brody King)

  • Brody King and Bandido both agreed that a ladder match “felt like a lot of pain.” King said that he regrets doing a Dante’s Inferno onto a ladder, “but the gif looks cool.”
  • Brody King is asked if he eyes a singles title too. He said he’s up for a challenge and has “no love lost” with Kyle Fletcher, but also seemed satisfied with his current success as a tag wrestler.
  • Brody King said he has never had a tag partner who loves wrestling as much as Bandido does: “He makes me want to go a step further with everything.”

Hangman Adam Page

  • Adam Page was asked about past comments about Kyle Fletcher not being “ready” for world title-level fights: “He was more ready than I anticipated. There was a point where he hit a brainbuster on me and I managed to kick out. But, I lost, for a minute, lost strength, lost feeling in the right [hand]. I’m throwing clotheslines at him. I’m frustrated because my brain is doing it, but nothing is happening. It won’t go. And he lingered on that too long, he relished on that too long instead of just trying to capitalize. He pulled the turnbuckle pad off, tried to set me up top and do it on that. He made a mistake. That’s what I meant when I said he’s not ready. You need to keep your composure, and he couldn’t tonight.”
  • Page said he isn’t one to have a “dream match.” Instead, he believes his career-long dream was fitting in and being accepted by wrestling. “I’m glad because I think I’ve figured that out.”
  • John Pollock asked Page what the vibe has been backstage with AEW talent, considering All Out was going head-to-head with WWE’s Wrestlepalooza card. Page said that the “honest truth” was that he was solely focused on the live audience that had chosen to attend AEW, and those who were tuning in. “We are just so committed and focused on putting forth the best effort that we can, that’s all that’s on our minds,” he said.

Tony Khan

  • Khan was asked why he decided to have Cope & Christian vs. FTR as the opener. He explained that he wanted to start the show strong, and having a big bout as the opener helped, especially considering the event had a special start time.
  • Davie Portman asked Khan if he has considered making afternoon start times for AEW PPVs a permanent move. “It’s definitely something to think about,” Khan said, noting that it has been “tremendous” for the past three PPVs.
  • Khan was asked on updates about Chris Jericho or Britt Baker returning. He said he’s “keeping the door open” for returns but didn’t note any specifics about those two.
  • John Pollock asked whether Khan had gone into the HBO Max simulcasting deal with any assumptions about how the audience might break down between linear and streaming. Khan noted that he did not have “one-tenth of one percent” of the HBO Max viewing figures but said he thought — given linear growth in the 25-54 audience — a lot of the 18-49 viewers had opted for streaming, which he said skews a little younger.
  • He noted that “only a handful” of people must get the HBO Max viewing figures and promised that he was not one of them.
  • He noted that the president of TBS and TNT was in attendance for tonight’s show.
  • Khan said there is a “great potential” for a Blood & Guts event and told fans to stay tuned regarding that.
  • When asked if he has considered changing the title of the AEW World Championship to the AEW Men’s World Championship, Khan said: “It’s gotten great traction, I think it’s something to consider. For the official record-keeping, it’s still as it has been. But I do think for Hangman, for his graphics, for describing what it is, it’s something that’s important to him … If that’s how he wants the title presented, that’s something I support and believe in.”
  • Tony Khan gave more praise for London, Ontario, a crowd that showed lots of energy at September to Remember on Wednesday.
  • Khan was asked about opportunities Nyla Rose could receive in the future. He called Rose “another great champion” and repeated the line that “the door is open” for other stars to continue the trend of returns from this evening.
  • Braden Herrington asked about the possibilities of a Skydome pay-per-view. “Are you referring to the Rogers Centre?” Khan replied. Khan said “you can bet” Toronto will get another PPV. He was “quite confident” that they would return to the Scotiabank Arena for a show someday, although there are other interesting venues in the city. Nothing specific about the Rogers Centre. Khan also mentioned an interest in other Canadian cities that could host a PPV someday.
  • Tony Khan said he tried to license Jack Harlow’s “Lovin’ On Me” for Blake Christian and claims he got turned down.
  • Khan said he has an interest in the idea of bringing back AEW Dark and understands the appetite for having a weekly show on Youtube, but noted the logistics of adding another show to a schedule that already includes Dynamite, Collision, and ROH tapings isn’t necessarily easy. “I would be open to that, but I think there’s other shows and things we can do to fill that void.”
