A returning PAC helped Jon Moxley to a win over Darby Allin in a brutal coffin match at AEW All Out.
Before the match, we saw two caskets at ringside, themed for each competitor.
Jon Moxley was first to make his entrance, and as he posed in front of fans, Allin attacked and the bell rang.
Allin wasted absolutely no time in clambering to the top of an arena entranceway and delivering a coffin drop. The pair then brawled their way up and down the venue steps.
They then entered the ringside area for the first time in the match. Allin bit Moxley’s ear, which was soon bleeding.
Moxley set up his coffin vertically, but Allin dived from the ring, spearing both men into the casket, which fell flat but with the lid staying open.
As the Death Riders arrived on the scene, Moxley launched Allin back-first into the lid of his coffin, which the heels then shifted into the ring. While this was happening, Shafir loosened one of the bottom turnbuckles, leaving the bottom rope slack.
The other Death Riders then headed to the back as Moxley dominated his opponent, slamming his arm in the coffin lid.
As things looked grim for Allin, he retrieved a hidden screwdriver from a turnbuckle pad and blasted Moxley in the head multiple times, drawing more blood. A battle over a fork was won by Allin, who rammed it at Moxley’s ear.
Moxley launched Allin into the coffin lid and got him inside. As he slammed the lid, Allin stopped it from closing with a metal pipe.
With Moxley stunned, Bryan Danielson slid Allin a backpack from the commentary position. Inside was a plastic bag, which Allin put over Moxley’s head.
Just as Allin looked set for the win, with Moxley placed in the coffin, out came a returning PAC, who threw Allin over the ropes onto the lid of the other coffin.
PAC then placed Allin inside a body bag and put him in the coffin. Moxley kicked the lid shut to win the match.
