Ethan Page successfully defended his NXT North American Championship against Tavion Heights at Saturday’s No Mercy PLE.
He was immediately confronted by a new challenger from Lucha Libre AAA.
Following the match, AAA Latin American Champion El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. appeared in a video on the arena screen to issue a challenge to Page.

The title match saw Page focus his attack on the back of Heights. Page used a backdrop on the entrance ramp and a backbreaker across the top turnbuckle to weaken his opponent.
Despite the damage, Heights rallied with a series of lariats and high kicks, eventually locking Page in an ankle lock. Page escaped and later applied a Boston Crab submission, but Heights was able to reach the ropes to force a break.
The champion retained his title after hitting Heights with the Twisted Grin for the pinfall victory.
