Jade Cargill has shared graphic photos of a deep gash in her forehead sustained in the main event of Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown.
On Saturday, Cargill shared close-up photos of the injury on her Instagram account.
The injury occurred during a triple-threat match for the WWE Women’s Championship that pitted Cargill against champion Tiffany Stratton and Nia Jax in Orlando, Florida.
During the match, Jax sent Cargill into the ringside steps, opening a large cut above her left eye. Despite being visibly injured, Cargill completed the match, which was something of a mess.
Cargill captioned her photos, “Don’t question the love I have for this game.”
The match concluded when Stratton pinned Jax to retain her title after hitting the Prettiest Moonsault Ever. With the victory, Stratton is now set to defend her championship against Stephanie Vaquer at Crown Jewel.
