John Cena’s retirement match location confirmed

The location of John Cena’s retirement match has been confirmed by WWE.

WWE has announced that Cena’s retirement match is set for December 13 at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C, as first reported by WrestleVotes.

The press release notes that WWE is working in partnership with Events DC, which they list as “the official convention and sports authority for the nation’s capital.”

They add that The Undertaker will host a live edition of his “Six Feet Under” podcast on Friday, December 12, at The Howard Theatre, and a WWE Superstore will be set up at Gallery Space DC.

The event will be branded as Saturday Night’s Main Event and streams exclusively on Peacock in the U.S.

Tickets go on sale this week, with a pre-sale on Wednesday followed by the public on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. ET.
