DOUKI regained the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship on Monday’s Road to King of Pro Wrestling event.

The Korakuen Hall show was headlined by El Desperado defending the championship he has held throughout 2025 against the House of Torture member.

The group was involved throughout the closing minutes, with SHO striking the champion with the black mirror on Desperado’s head.

After the referee was pulled out of the ring, DOUKI applied the Darkness Stretch as SHO repeatedly struck Desperado in the head with the mirror. When the ref returned, he called for the bell as Desperado was out.

This ends Desperado’s fifth title reign, which began at Wrestle Kingdom 19 when he defeated DOUKI after an arm injury halted the match.

A stipulation was added to next week’s King of Pro Wrestling match between Drilla Moloney and SANADA. After SANADA left the ring on Monday’s show and was intentionally counted out, Moloney called for their 1-on-1 to be a “no disqualification and no count-outs” match at Sumo Hall.

RESULTS:
*Masatora Yasuda & Zane Jay over Shoma Kato & Tatsuya Matsumoto (kick off match)
*Hiroshi Tanahashi & Katsuya Murashima over El Phantasmo & Jado
*Drilla Moloney & Clark Connors over SANADA & Yoshinobu Kanemaru by count-out
*EVIL, SHO, Don Fale & Dick Togo over Oleg Boltin, Toru Yano, KUUKAI & Tiger Mask
*Yota Tsuji, Shingo Takagi, Hiromu Takahashi & Titán over Gabe Kidd, David Finlay, Taiji Ishimori & Gedo
*Shota Umino over OSKAR
*Yuya Uemura over Yuto-Ice
*IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship: DOUKI over El Desperado ©
