More than a decade and a half into his run with WWE, Xavier Woods is still going strong.

Woods, one-half of the New Day, reportedly reached a new multi-year extension to remain with WWE just last month, per Fightful Select. Specifics of the deal aren’t known at the moment.

Woods confirmed the new deal in a social media post on Tuesday evening:

How do yall know this stuff? I didnt say anything! But yes. You’re gonna see my sexy face for a while longer even though you dont deserve it. 22 years in the game and about to make the next bit even better than the rest.

The agreement keeps 39-year-old Woods working for the same place he has been at since 2010, where he has been a part of 11 tag team title reigns and won the 2021 King of the Ring tournament.

While Woods remaining with WWE isn’t necessarily surprising, Fightful Select revealed that his negotiations with the company were “down to the wire,” coming quite close to when his previous deal was set to expire last month.

For over 10 years, Woods has been part of the New Day, an act founded alongside Kofi Kingston and Big E. The long-time babyface team made a significant change in late 2024, when Woods and Kingston ousted Big E from the group and turned heel. They have been a part of the Monday Night Raw roster over the past few years.

Woods also has a prominent role in WWE’s web content, being the host of the promotion’s Up Up Down Down gaming channel. The account, which is home to nearly 4,000 videos, has amassed over 2.4 million subscribers since its 2015 launch.
