Yoshiki Inamura returned to Pro Wrestling NOAH on Saturday and issued a challenge to the GHC Heavyweight Champion.
Inamura, who has been wrestling in NXT over the past year, made a surprise return at Saturday’s Wrestle Odyssey event in Tokyo to challenge KENTA.
The GHC Heavyweight Champion retained his title in the main event against N-1 Victory winner Masa Kitamiya and was met by Inamura’s challenge.
Inamura will challenge KENTA for the championship on November 8 at Korakuen Hall. He has also been added to NOAH’s events on October 16 at Korakuen Hall and October 21 in Hodogaya, where he will team with NXT’s Harlem Lewis and Charlie Dempsey.
There was one title change on the card as Daga & Daiki Odashima won the GHC junior heavyweight titles from Alpha Wolf & Dragon Bane, who had held the belts since May.
NOAH drew an announced crowd of 3,617 to Ryogoku Kokugikan for Saturday’s card, and below are the results (Courtesy: Purolove.com):
