TNA Wrestling inducted Mickie James and The Beautiful People into its Hall of Fame during the Countdown to Bound for Glory pre-show.

The ceremony and a championship match took place ahead of the main card at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, Massachusetts.

The ceremony began with the induction of The Beautiful People, Angelina Love and Velvet Sky. TNA Head of Talent Relations Tommy Dreamer gave the induction speech, accompanied by producer Jazz and TNA President Carlos Silva.

In their speeches, both Love and Sky referred to the induction as a “full-circle moment,” as they had their start at a previous Bound for Glory event. They thanked numerous figures, including Dreamer, Billy Gunn, Jeff Jarrett, and Vince Russo.

Lisa Marie Varon inducted Mickie James, delivering an emotional speech about their friendship and professional rivalry.

Accepting the honor, James thanked Jeff and Jerry Jarrett for her first opportunity in the company as “Alexis Laree” and later thanked Dixie Carter for bringing her back to TNA to reinvent herself as “Hardcore Country.” James praised the company for giving its female competitors main event opportunities and spoke of feeling vindicated during her final run.

The Countdown show also featured a defense of the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship.

Champions The IInspiration (Cassie Lee & Jessie McKay) retained their titles against The Elegance Brand (Heather By Elegance & M By Elegance).

The challengers attacked the champions before the bell and controlled the early portion of the match. The IInspiration mounted a comeback and secured the pinfall victory on M after hitting their Idolizer finishing move.
