NJPW’s return to the U.S. is set.
NJPW will head to the Cure Insurance Arena in Trenton, New Jersey for “The New Beginning USA” on February 27, 2026, the promotion announced at their event on Monday.
The event marks a long-awaited return to the U.S. for NJPW, which hasn’t hosted an event in the country since May 2025, when Resurgence took place in Ontario, California.
NJPW has focused on U.S. events significantly over the past few years. The promotion hosted eight events in the country during 2024, including its annual Forbidden Door collaboration with AEW.
However, NJPW visited the U.S. just three times in 2025, with no further events scheduled for the final quarter of the year. A Fightful Select report earlier this month noted that “declining attendance” and “some NJPW roster members not wanting to make the trip” contributed to the promotion hosting fewer events stateside in 2025.
The Cure Insurance Arena has a capacity of 8,500 for concerts. The venue, which has been around since 1999, previously hosted ROH: Death Before Dishonor in 2023, as well as a TNA PPV in 2008.
Ticket information for The New Beginning USA have not been released yet.
