Kota Ibushi has been told it will be a significant road to recovery after breaking his femur at an AEW taping last week.

Ibushi, 43, posted a message on Instagram to share the timetable he has been given:

My current condition. One year to fully recover. Two years until I can step into the ring again. I believe in myself more than the doctors. I absolutely don’t believe in that. I know I have amazing DNA that gives me the ability to heal!!

The performer suffered the injury last Wednesday at the Collision taping at Daily’s Place during a match with Josh Alexander. He recently underwent surgery for a broken femur.

Ibushi has been plagued by injuries since 2021, missing all of 2022 and only wrestling twenty-three matches in the ensuing years.
