Kenny Omega made a surprise appearance at AEW WrestleDream, intervening after members of the Don Callis Family attacked Jurassic Express.

The attack occurred after Jack Perry and Luchasaurus defeated The Young Bucks in a $500,000 money match.

Josh Alexander, Lance Archer, and Mark Davis hit the ring and beat down Perry and Luchasaurus. The defeated Bucks watched the assault and opted to walk up the ramp.

Omega’s music played, and he appeared on the stage, confronting his former Elite partners. After the Bucks continued to leave, Omega charged the ring to fight the Don Callis Family members alone.

Perry and Luchasaurus recovered and helped Omega clear the ring. After the brawl, Omega, Perry, and Luchasaurus stood tall together.

The match was preceded by a video package highlighting The Young Bucks’ storyline financial troubles. An expense report graphic showed they had only $32.17 remaining from previous winnings. Consequently, their entrance music was replaced by a computerized voice repeating, “Insufficient Funds, Transaction Denied”.

The St. Louis crowd was audibly supportive of Jurassic Express, chanting for both Perry and Luchasaurus. Early in the match, Luchasaurus hit a moonsault from the apron onto both Bucks on the floor. Perry followed up with a dive over the top rope. The Bucks gained control by isolating Perry, which drew chants of “Oh, you’ve got no money” from the fans.

The high-paced match included a sequence where all four men engaged in a chicken fight on the floor. This ended when Matt Jackson hit a cutter on Luchasaurus off the apron, and Nick Jackson hit a Destroyer on Perry onto the apron. The spot earned a “this is awesome” chant from the crowd.

The match featured numerous near falls. The Bucks hit a double stomp-piledriver combination, but Perry kicked out. Later, The Bucks connected with a BTE Trigger, but Luchasaurus broke up the pin. Jurassic Express responded with a Doomsday Device on Matt Jackson for a two-count, prompting “fight forever” chants.

After Nick Jackson broke up a pin attempt following a TK Driver, The Bucks hit a double superkick on a diving Perry and landed another BTE Trigger, but Perry kicked out again.

Jurassic Express secured the win after hitting the Countdown to Extinction on Matt Jackson for the pinfall.
