How Far Are You Willing to Go?
Raw from Anaheim kicked off with CM Punk and Jey Uso going face-to-face in the ring ahead of the World Heavyweight Championship match at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Punk said that he and Jey are friends, but Jey’s actions last week showed him who he really is. Punk asked Jey how far he was willing to go because he wasn’t the only one who needed to be champion again. Jey said he did what was right for him, but said “Screw you,” and he would take him out this Saturday.

Backstage, Dominik Mysterio announced to the rest of The Judgment Day that they had a problem because Adam Pearce had it out for him. Raquel Rodriguez suggested that Dom try not to cheat so much. Finn Balor and JD McDonagh said they had their hands full trying to get the tag titles back. Roxanne Perez went to talk to Dom, but Raquel stopped her and said they needed to focus on tonight.
Intercontinental Championship #1 Contender’s Match
The first match of the evening saw Penta taking on Rusev, with the winner going on to Saturday Night’s Main Event to face Dominik Mysterio for the Intercontinental Championship. Penta and Rusev went back and forth before Rusev hit a Flapjack on Penta on the steel stairs going into the commercial break. Afterwards, Rusev was in control and nailed Penta with a Machka Kick as Penta came off the top rope for a near fall. Penta then reversed The Accolade to hit the Penta Driver for a near fall of his own. Suddenly, Los Tres Americanos attacked both men, causing a double DQ.
Rayo and Bravo… do you realize who you're dealing with? 👀
Thanks to The Americanos, we DO NOT have a No. 1 Contender for Dom Mysterio's IC Title but they will definitely be paying for that. pic.twitter.com/M22PWCCC9c

Finn Balor and JD McDonagh demanded a tag title rematch from Adam Pearce, but Pearce revealed that one of them would face Sheamus tonight because they teamed up to eliminate him from the Battle Royal illegally.
Nikki Bella vs. Roxanne Perez
Next up was Nikki Bella taking on Judgment Day’s Roxanne Perez with Raquel Rodriguez at ringside. Things were clunky to start, but finally, Rodriguez got involved behind the referee’s back, going into commercial. Upon return, Perez was in control, focusing on Bella’s previously injured neck. Nikki set up for the Rack Attack 2.0, but Perez reversed it into a chokehold. Rodriguez got involved again and got decked by Bella, who followed that up with another failed attempt at the Rack Attack. Perez then hit Pop Rox out of the corner for the win. Perez and Rodriguez went to beat down Bella, but Stephanie Vaquer made the save. Vaquer squatted off Rodriguez, but then Bella awkwardly got in the middle of the stare-down.

Backstage, Lyra Valkyria ran into The Kabuki Warriors, who started screaming about her and Bayley getting a tag title shot instead of them. Bayley entered, and Lyra said she was nervous but wondered what would happen if they won.
Jimmy Uso confronted Jey Uso backstage, saying he had seen the tape and that all Jey cared about was himself. Jimmy said if it had really come down to just them in the Battle Royal, if Jey really believed in himself, he wouldn’t be so scared to find out.
LA Knight vs. Bron Breakker
Next up was The Vision’s Bron Breakker taking on LA Knight. Knight and Breakker went back and forth with Bron Breakker lurking at ringside, distracting Knight.

After the ad break, Breakker hit a flying shoulder tackle on the outside, leveling Knight. Knight recovered and set up for the BFT, but it was reversed, and Breakker then fell off the top rope in a scary-looking spot. LA Knight then hit the Megaplex for a near fall. Bronson Reed then attempted to get involved, and Breakker was sent into the ring post. Knight went to the top rope, but Breakker kipped up and then hit the spear for the win.

Jimmy and Jey Uso were backstage again, and Jey said he had a lot on his plate, but he loved Jimmy. With that, they made up and shook hands.
Sheamus vs. JD McDonagh
The next match was Sheamus attempting to avenge his elimination from last week’s Battle Royal by taking on JD McDonagh. Sheamus dominated the early goings, taking out both McDonagh and Balor as the show went to break.

During the commercial, McDonagh worked over Sheamus’ left leg and ankle, hobbling the big Irishman. Sheamus set up for the Brogue Kick, but was met with a big knee from McDonagh. Sheamus then hit the Razor’s Edge, but Balor managed to get JD’s foot onto the bottom rope. Sheamus went after Balor and went to Razor’s Edge, him onto the announce table, but McDonagh made the save. Balor then hit Sheamus with the Sheleighleigh behind the referee’s back, and McDonagh hit a Spanish Fly for the victory.
Backstage, Maxxine Dupri was speaking with Adam Pearce, and Pearce said she was owed a third shot at Becky Lynch’s Intercontinental Championship. Dupri said she would take the shot but wanted to call a friend first to make sure she was ready.

Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss were asked why they accepted this impromptu challenge from Bayley and Lyra Valkryia. Charlotte noted they were two defenses away from the record for most in Women’s Tag Team Championship history (what a strange stat – tonight would be only their fifth defense). The Kabuki Warriors interrupted, saying they deserved a shot, and Charlotte and Alexa agreed.
New World Tag Team Champions AJ Styles and Dragon Lee were speaking with Adam Pearce (who was very busy tonight) when Balor and McDonagh approached and all parties agreed to a rematch next week.
Women’s Tag Team Championship
The main event of the evening saw Charlotte and Alexa Bliss defending against Bayley and Lyra Valkyria. Bayley and Lyra worked well together throughout the early portion of the match, with Charlotte finally getting the hot tag after a commercial break. Charlotte hit a moonsault on both opponents for a near fall, then knocked Bayley off the apron with a big boot. Bayley then lost it and went into high gear, attacking Charlotte and Alexa and getting a near-fall after a Bayley-to-Belly.

Alexa then hit a Sister Abigail DDT on Lyra, but Bayley made the save before the three-count. Lyra then hit a Nightwing on Alexa, but Charlotte made the save. Charlotte then applied the Figure Eight on Bayley, but Lyra stopped her from tapping. Alexa hit the Twisted Bliss on Lyra, and then the Champions hit double Natural Selection to pick up the win.
After the match, the Kabuki Warriors appeared and attacked Charlotte and Alexa. They then turned their attention to Lyra, but Bayley chased them away as the show went off the air.
