Raj Dhesi undergoes successful knee surgery: ‘Now comes the recovery’

Raj Dhesi (formerly Jinder Mahal) announced on social media that he has undergone a successful knee surgery and is now in the process of rehabilitation.

Dhesi posted a video of himself on Wednesday to Instagram with the caption: “2 loose bodies removed + meniscus trimmed. Surgery went well, now comes the recovery.”

In the video, Dhesi mentions that he specifically had a knee scope surgery performed on him. 

39-year-old Dhesi has remained active as a wrestler since departing the WWE roster last year. He has worked all around the North American indies, hitting up notable promotions in America, Mexico, and his home country of Canada.

Dhesi’s last match took place in mid-October, when he defended the Stu Hart Heritage Championship against Matt Riddle in Calgary, Alberta.
