It looks like next week’s special “Blood & Guts” episode of AEW Dynamite will be longer than usual.
TBS currently has the November 12 episode of AEW Dynamite listed as a two-and-a-half-hour program, running from 8 p.m. ET to 10:30 p.m. Similarly, Dynamite’s Canadian TV carrier, TSN, also has the show scheduled for the same timeslot.
While Dynamite often goes two hours plus a slight overrun, it’s not surprising that next week’s show will need even more time. The episode will feature a pair of “Blood & Guts” six-on-six cage matches, as well as a Falls Count Anywhere match between Hangman Adam Page and Powerhouse Hobbs.
AEW has presented an annual Blood & Guts match on TV since 2021. These cage matches are lengthy, with last year’s clocking in at 48 minutes. For the first time ever, AEW will this year host two Blood & Guts bouts, with the men’s and women’s rosters getting to compete in the special stipulation contest next week.
All of the action is scheduled to take place at the First Horizon Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina, where at least 3,500 fans are expected, per the latest estimation by WrestleTix.
