NXT hits three-week high in viewership against U.S. Election coverage

NXT scored a three-week high in its viewership figures, airing against the election coverage in the U.S. and the NBA.

The November 4 episode averaged 528,000 viewers and 109,000 (0.08) in the 18-49 demographic on CW.

The audience was nearly identical to last week’s average of 527,000 viewers, while the key demo audience grew by fifteen percent this week. Both figures are NXT’s largest since October 14.

In the 18-49 demo, NXT averaged 40,000 viewers among women and 61,000 with males.

The show drew a 0.05 rating among adults 18-34, which is also a three-week high.

The show ranked last among all network programming in prime time, while cable was led by the election coverage on CNN, Fox News, and MSNBC.

NXT aired against the Orlando Magic vs. Atlanta Hawks, which averaged 1,158,000 viewers and 0.30 in the demo on NBC.

The show closed with a championship celebration for Ethan Page & Chelsea Green, which was interrupted by Joe Hendry.

Six weeks since the introduction of Big Data + Panel, NXT is averaging 577,000 viewers and 0.09 in 18-49, compared to the previous six weeks, averaging 674,000 viewers and 0.15 in 18-49.
