Eight matchups have been confirmed for Friday evening’s TNA Turning Point live event following an eventful episode of Impact on Thursday night.
While just one bout was confirmed for the card by Thursday afternoon, numerous angles on this week’s episode of TV lined up the majority of the card set for tomorrow night at Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida.
Three title matchups set for Friday
In one of three title bouts confirmed for Friday night, Leon Slater will put his TNA X-Division Championship on the line against Rich Swann. The matchup is Swann’s first title appearance since returning to TNA earlier this year, aligning himself with AJ Francis’ First Class faction.
Slater’s title reign has been a major highlight in TNA as of late, putting on big performances against Je’Von Evans, Myron Reed, and Cedric Alexander over the past few months.
It was also confirmed on Thursday that TNA Knockouts World Champion Kelani Jordan will put her title on the line this weekend against M By Elegance.
The Personal Concierge convinced TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella that both M and Heather By Elegance are owed title shots against Jordan, since former champ Ash By Elegance relinquished the title instead of losing it. After Heather came up short in her title matchup on Thursday, M will get a last chance for the faction to regain the promotion’s top women’s title this weekend.
It was also confirmed that The IInspiration will try to keep their run as TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champions alive in a three-way match, taking on the duo of Victoria Crawford and Tessa Blanchard, as well as Lei Ying Lee and Xia Brookside. The IInspiration have held the belts since late September.
The Rascalz tease return of Dezmond Xavier (Wes Lee), Indi Hartwell & Dani Luna set for trilogy bout
A massive faction warfare will go down on Friday night, as The System will take on The Rascalz. The matchup between the two babyface factions was made on Thursday after JDC announced his intention to retire from wrestling in early 2026.
While The Rascalz are currently operating as just three members, they mentioned on Thursday that they will bring back someone from “the West Side,” heavily teasing that ex-WWE talent Dezmond Xavier (formerly Wes Lee) will re-unite at Turning Point.
A third meeting between Indi Hartwell and Dani Luna will take place tomorrow night, this time meeting in a no disqualification bout.
After their past two TV matchups have ended via disqualification due to the usage of weapons, it only made sense that they would face off again with an extreme stipulation added on.
It was previously confirmed that Mike Santana will team with Steve Maclin to face Nic Nemeth and Frankie Kazarian on Friday night. The matchup took on a new meaning on Thursday evening after Kazarian scored a shocking result win, dethroning Santana in less than a minute to capture the TNA World Championship.
