AEW Dynamite’s ‘Blood and Guts’ special on November 12 saw a large audience increase, while WWE NXT also posted a rise in total viewers this week.

The special 2.5-hour broadcast of AEW Dynamite averaged 600,000 viewers and drew a 0.15 rating in the 18-49 demographic, according to reports from Programming Insider and Wrestlenomics. The show ranked sixth among cable originals for the night.

Those figures represent a significant jump from the previous week’s episode, which drew 497,000 viewers and a 0.09 demo rating. The ‘Blood and Guts’ special was up 21 percent in total viewership and 67 percent in the key 18-49 demographic.

WWE NXT on November 11 on The CW network averaged 554,000 viewers and a 0.07 rating in the 18-49 demo. This was a five percent increase in total viewers from the 528,000 drawn the prior week. However, the demo rating declined 12 percent from the previous week’s 0.08.

The AEW special from Greensboro, NC, was built around two cage matches. The main event saw Kyle O’Reilly, Roderick Strong, Darby Allin, Mark Briscoe, and Orange Cassidy defeat The Death Riders when O’Reilly submitted Jon Moxley. The show opened with the first-ever Women’s Blood & Guts match, which saw “Timeless” Toni Storm surrender to save Mina Shirakawa.

NXT’s broadcast was headlined by a Last Man Standing match for the NXT Championship. In the main event, champion Ricky Saints retained his title against Trick Williams. The show also featured the return of Oba Femi, who confronted Saints after the match.

Both programs are measured under Nielsen’s “Big Data + Panel” methodology, which was implemented on September 26, 2025. This change makes direct comparisons to viewership data prior to that date difficult.
