WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk will hit the big screens early next year in the role of a police officer moonlighting as a vampire.
A recent trailer released for the independent horror film “Night Patrol” sees Punk play a vampire who serves as part of the Los Angeles Police Department. The movie is scheduled to hit theaters on January 16, 2026.
“Night Patrol” is directed by Ryan Prows and is being released by RLJE Films and Shudder.
A description for the movie reads: “An LAPD officer must put aside his differences with the area’s street gangs when he discovers a local police task force is harboring a horrific secret that endangers the residents of the housing projects he grew up in.”
The movie, which also features prominent hip-hop artists Freddie Gibbs and YG, had a festival tour earlier this year. It aired at the Fantastic Film Festival in Austin, Texas, as well as the Beyond Fest in Los Angeles, California.
“Night Patrol” isn’t the only extracurricular activity that Punk has been getting outside of his career as a professional wrestler. Alongside Roman Reigns, Punk will voice “Zebros” in the upcoming Zootopia 2 animated film.
