College track and field athlete Meghan Walker has reportedly become the newest signing to a WWE developmental deal.
Walker, who was previously under a WWE Next In Line (NIL) partnership, has reportedly been upgraded to an agreement which makes her part of the main WWE NXT developmental program, per a report on Wednesday from PWInsider.
WWE’s NIL program recruits college athletes and provides them with resources for potentially exploring a career in wrestling. Once their NIL deal has wrapped up, some are offered to sign a proper WWE deal and join the roster. In Walker’s case, it seems that’s exactly what has happened.
Walker has represented the University of Nebraska for Track and Field since 2023. She carries a significant social media following of over 130,000 followers, much more than the usual upstart wrestling trainee.
Walker first announced her NIL signing back in December 2024.
