Mark Briscoe won the TNT Championship for the first time at AEW Full Gear by defeating Kyle Fletcher in a No Disqualification match.

The victory ensured that Briscoe avoided the pre-match stipulation, which would have forced him to join The Don Callis Family had he lost.

The match featured significant weapon usage and blood loss. Early in the contest, Fletcher executed a brainbuster on Briscoe onto a steel chair. Briscoe later attempted a dive to the outside but crashed into a ladder, allowing Fletcher to launch the ladder into Briscoe’s face, opening a wound on the challenger’s forehead.

Don Callis played an active role at ringside, distracting Briscoe to allow Fletcher to shove him from the top rope through a table on the floor.

Inside the ring, Fletcher introduced thumbtacks, placing a handful in Briscoe’s mouth before delivering a superkick.

As the violence escalated, Callis handed a screwdriver to Fletcher. Fletcher used the tool to stab Briscoe in the forehead, furthering the damage to the challenger.

Despite this, Briscoe recovered to execute a Froggy Bow elbow drop off a ladder through a table.

The match concluded after Briscoe escaped Fletcher’s attempt to execute an Avalanche Brainbuster on the turnbuckles.

Briscoe delivered an Avalanche Razor’s Edge through a table wrapped in barbed wire, followed immediately by the Jay Driller to secure the pinfall and the title.
