Eddie Kingston has issued a challenge for the AEW Championship.

During Collision, Kingston defeated Katsuyori Shibata after hitting a DDT and pinning him clean.

After the match, he said that “Hook is still my boy” and that people make decisions, and Hook will have to deal with the consequences from Hangman Page and Swerve Strickland.

Kingston gave a passionate speech to the audience in Nashville, questioning if he deserves their love. He says he wakes up each day, unsure if he’s going to live because of what goes on inside his head.

He isn’t trying to get chants or seek praise on Twitter, but loves the fans because they love professional wrestling.

Kingston directed his message toward Samoa Joe, whom he looked up to when he was ROH Champion, and is now leading Hook down the wrong path with the OPPS. He noted being out for eighteen months due to injury and has no peace in his life except when he’s inside the ring, and proceeded to challenge Joe for the AEW title on December 10 in Atlanta at Winter is Coming.
