ROH tag titles vacated after injury to Rush, new champions to be crowed at Final Battle

The ROH Tag Team Championship has been vacated.

During Friday’s episode of Ring of Honor, it was stated that due to Rush’s injury, he has vacated the tag titles he held with Sammy Guevara.

Guevara will team with Beast Mortos at Final Battle next Friday against an unknown team to determine the new champions.

Rush and Guevara had held the titles since August 29, when they beat The Outrunners for the vacant belts at Death Before Dishonor in Philadelphia.

The news comes after Thursday’s announcement that Rush wouldn’t be challenging Bandido for the ROH World Championship on December 5. Instead, Bandido will defend the title against Guevara, Beast Mortos, Blake Christian, Hechicero, and Komander in a Survival of the Fittest match.
