Final Battle Zero Hour
Ring of Honor Final Battle kicked off with the traditional Zero Hour pre-show slate of matches, with absolutely terrible audio on the feed. The first match saw The Outrunners take on the Premier Athletes, accompanied by Mark Sterling and Stori Denali. Sterling and Denali got involved as expected, but the Outrunners were able to survive and hit Total Recall for the win.

Next up, Leila Grey took on Ring of Honor newcomer Zayda Steel. One might think Steel would win her debut match, but Leila Grey picked up the win with a brutal looking Angle’s Wings (she was cornerned by Christopher Daniels).
.@ZaydaSteel’s ROH debut is here. The challenge is set, and she steps in ready to make a statement against Leila Grey at Zero Hour!

The next match saw Lee Johnson taking on the Bang Bang Gang’s Ace Austin. Johnson used heel tactics in this match to gain an advantage, but Austin ultimately picked up the win with The Fold.

The cavalcade of unannounced matches continued next with Death Riders’ Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia taking on the Grizzled Young Veterans, with Jon Moxley joining Ian Riccaboni and Caprice Coleman on commentary. This match really got the crowd going with GYV being the fan favorite team. As expected, the Death Riders used underhanded tactics and came up with the win after Wheeler Yuta hit the Busaiku Knee on Zack Gibson. Moxley had no apparent animosity with his stablemates in this one.

Main Card
The main card kicked off with the final of the Women’s ROH Pure Tournament, and Jon Moxley remained on commentary for the duration. Starkz went all out on Purazzo, trying to take her out via the corner of the announce table. Billie Starkz was the first to use all of her rope breaks as Purazzo continued to apply submission maneuvers on Starkz. Finally, Purazzo picked up the win by applying Venus de Milo in the center of the ring. Deonna Purazzo becomes the first-ever Ring of Honor Women’s Pure Champion. After the match, the injured Queen Aminata emerged to shake Purazzo’s hand, saying she wanted the first shot.

30 Minute Iron Man Match
Next up was the 30 Minute Iron Man Match between Nigel McGuinness and Lee Moriarty. Moriarty picked up the first submission with the Border City Stretch after a quick tap from McGuinness about five minutes in. It then went to two to nothing as Moriarty executed an Inside Cradle at around the eleven-minute mark.
Another fall for @theleemoriarty, he’s up 2-0 now.

McGuinness finally picked up a decision by using the London Dungeon at around nineteen minutes. Moriarty responded immediately by reversing another London Dungeon attempt for another pinfall, making it 3-1. The pace picked up from there, as time ticked under the three-minute mark, as McGuinness got distracted by Shane Taylor at ringside. McGuinness then picked up another decision, rolling Moriarty up while in the Crossface. Nigel then scored another pinfall with thirty seconds remaining, tying things up. McGuinness rolled Moriarty up again and grabbed the tights, taking the lead. Moriarty then rolled McGuinness up at the last second to tie things up at four, with the official decision being a draw.

Moriarty got on the mic and convinced Nigel to go to Sudden Death, and Nigel obliged. The nearfalls were fast and furious, with both men inches away from victory. Moriarty then picked up the win after bridging up at the last second during a double pin. After the match, McGuinness gifted Moriarty his original ROH title.

Jon Moxley then stood up from the announce table. He cut a promo on the Don Callis Family about how he would defeat Konosuke Takeshita tomorrow night in the Continental Classic.
Women’s Television Championship
Red Velvet jumped Mercedes Moné before the bell, and as the referee went to get rid of one of Moné’s titles, Velvet had Moné down for three, but the ref didn’t see it. Velvet continued to hold her own as the match went on, giving Moné a run for her money. Velvet scored a big near fall after hitting Nacho Mama’s Kitchen, but Moné was able to kick out. Red Velvet then scored the upset victory, winning by kicking off the rope while in the Statement Maker and rolling back to pin Moné.

Tag Team Championship
Next was the match to determine which team would claim the vacant ROH Tag Team Championships after Rush had to vacate because of injury. Both teams went back and forth for nearly twelve minutes when suddenly Hechicero appeared, knocking Adam Priest off the top rope as Sammy Guevara hit a low blow on Tommy Billington. Beast Mortos then hit a Corkscrew Moonsault for the win. It was noted that Guevara was the first athlete to win three consecutive tag team title reigns.

Kingston vs. Woods
The next match saw Eddie Kingston taking on Josh Woods. The commentary team harped on Kingston’s AEW Championship match against Samoa Joe this coming Wednesday. This was a hard-hitting matchup with Woods attempting to counter Kingston’s offense with submission holds. The finish saw Kingston yell out Samoa Joe’s name as he hit a DDT on Woods to score the win.

Six-Man Tag Team Championship
Next up was Shane Taylor Promotions defending their Six-Man Tag Team Championships against Sky Flight. This match was high-flying from the start, and things went to another level when both Trish Adora and Leila Grey got involved behind the referee’s back, ultimately leading to the two brawling in the ring. Anthony Ogogo then attempted to get involved, but Christopher Daniels hit him with the Angel’s Wings before he could affect the match. STP retained with a roll-up and a handful of tights.

AEW National Championship
The next match saw Dalton Castle challenging Ricochet for his newly acquired AEW National Championship. Castle frustrated Ricochet in the early goings of this match, finally culminating in him taking out one of the Boys at ringside. Ricochet took control for a bit when the frustration resumed, with Castle rolling out of the way from Ricochet, setting up on the top rope many times in a row. The match continued to build with Ricochet kicking out of the Bangarang. Ricochet then threw a boy into Castle on the outside and hit the Spirit Gun on Castle as he returned to the ring to pick up the win.

ROH World Championship Six-Way
The next match was the first of two main events. This one was for the Ring of Honor World Championship, with Bandido defending his title in a six-way “Survival of the Fittest” Match. His opponents were Hechicero, Sammy Guevara, Blake Christian, Komander, and Beast Mortos. Guevara and Mortos were pulling double duty on the night, having won the vacant ROH tag titles earlier in the night. Early in the match, Mortos and Guevara turned their backs on Hechicero, even though he had helped them win the tag titles. Conversely, Bandido and Komander executed several double-team maneuvers on their heel opponents.

The first elimination came at 11:24 when Komander and Bandido teamed up yet again, with Komander hitting the moonsault from the middle of the top rope. The subsequent elimination came at 13:00 after Hechicero hit the Head Scissor Driver on Beast Mortos. At 15:28, Blake Christian eliminated Komander after executing a Lethal Injection.

That left the Champion Bandido with Hechicero and Blake Christian. Christian nearly pinned Bandido after nailing him with a Lethal Injection. Bandido then pinned Blake Christian at the 20:45 mark. Christian went after Bandido’s previously injured shoulder before leaving the ring. Doc Sampson checked on Bandido as Hechicero fumed that he wasn’t getting a countout, and Caprice explained that since the injury was caused by someone no longer in the match, they could pause. Bandido then recovered enough to move out of the way of a dive by Hechicero, where he landed on the side of the ring steps that were set up outside the ring.

Hechicero and Bandido went back and forth until Bandido successfully rolled up his opponent to win and retain the ROH World Championship.
A video was shown of Mercedes Moné backstage, freaking out on Leila Grey after losing her ROH TV title earlier in the night. This led to the announcement that Moné would indeed face Grey for the TBS Championship tomorrow night on Collision.

ROH Women’s World Championship
The main event of the evening was Athena (accompanied by Diamante) defending her ROH Women’s Championship against Persephone. Diamante got involved early, behind the referee’s back, allowing Athena to gain control of the proceedings. Persephone focused her offense on Athena’s back, yelling, “My back hurts,” at one point.

Persephone continued her assault, planting Athena on her back on the announce table. Persephone continued to give the “forever champion” a run for her money as she caught an Athena dive and slammed her on the floor. Persephone followed that up with a dive over the top rope onto Athena and Diamante on the floor. Athena then applied the Koji Clutch, and Perpephone responded by impressively standing up while Athena still held the move.
Persephone then hit a big spear, followed by the Razor’s Edge for a near fall. She then set up on the second rope, but Athena hit a German suplex, where Persephone landed right on her neck. Athena followed that with the O Face and scored the pinfall victory.
