TNA ended its Final Resolution event with a major brawl involving the invading NXT forces and the TNA roster.
Moments after Frankie Kazarian retained the TNA Championship in the main event against JDC, the System made its way to the ring to check on their stablemate. It prompted the NXT crew of Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo, Lexis King, and High Ryze to jump the group and prepare to light the TNA logo on fire.
The Hardys, Steve Maclin, and Mike Santana prevented the torching of the ring mat but attacking the invaders and causing a major pull-apart.
The big angle saw Santino Marella standing between the sides and was knocked out cold by his future son-in-law, Stacks, who they have established is dating Arianna Grace on programming.
There was a precursor to the angle on the pay-per-view where Grace told her father she separates her professional and personal life and would never do anything against her father, despite Stacks leading the NXT team.

The show had 2,567 tickets distributed at the El Paso County Coliseum, according to WrestleTix.
It was generally a pretty great crowd throughout the show, lifting several matches to come off better than they appeared.
Kazarian retained the TNA Championship against JDC after a ref bump and JDC avoiding a belt shot. JDC used an O’Connor roll but was caught in the Chicken Wing and passed, providing Kazarian a relatively clean win, although he played heel throughout the match.

Leon Slater retained the X Division Championship against AJ Francis, which turned into a very entertaining match with lots of distractions and interference. It included Slater grabbing a GoPro from Francis and executing a dive over the corner post and filming it like Logan Paul. Francis attempted to use a chair behind the ref’s back, but BDE showed up and prevented it. One of the big spots was Francis hitting a moonsault off the second turnbuckle and being caught upside down by a superkick. Francis angered the referee, who finally turned her back, as Swann held the belt and decided to strike Francis with it, instead of Slater. It led to a Swanton 450, and Slater won.
The Hardys kept the tag titles by defeating Tyriek Igwe & Tyson Dupont, and it was a tough go for High Ryze, who were probably wrestling in front of the most people in their careers. It was a super simple match of the Hardys selling for the entire match from the most basic offense by High Ryze. The Hardys overcame their size and sent Igwe over the top rope, and Jeff landed the Swanton to pin Dupont. The crowd was into the Hardys, and that was its saving grace.
The best match of the night was the eight-man tag with The Rascalz beating Order 4 after nearly fifteen minutes. This match was excellent with tons of flying spots, and they booked Special Agent Zero like a monster, and he looked good in this match, including a big dive to everyone on the floor. Ali tried to escape through the crowd when Elijah appeared on a horse, lassoed Ali, and rode off with him. The end saw John Skyler take a Meteora, Swanton, Spiral Tap, and springboard 450 from the four Rascalz and was pinned. Easily the best match on the show.
Lei Ying Lee retained the Knockouts title over tag partner, Xia Brookside. The two were emotional at the beginning and wrestled a clean match but it escalated into big strikes and told a nice story. The audience wasn’t into the match for most of it, but I enjoyed it, albeit it could have been a bit shorter. There was a sequence of kicks resulting in the spinning wheel kick by Lee and she won. They embraced after the match but were attacked by Dani Luna, prompting Indi Hartwell to run out and fight Luna.
Hartwell and Luna will have a Dog Collar match on Impact this Thursday.
The only title change saw Stacks Lorenzo win the International title from Steve Maclin in an average match, which mainly saw Maclin bump all over and ended up cutting his right eye and drawing blood. Lexis King was in Stacks’ corner and was chased by Maclin. With the ref distracted by King, Stacks used King’s cane to strike Maclin and won. They are positioning Stacks as the leader of the NXT invaders and placed in the big angle at the end of the night.
Matt Cardona won a Street Fight against Mance Warner with holiday-themed weapons (I had enough of these on Dynamite), but the audience enjoyed the weapon spots and continually chanted for tables. Cardona brought out a Santa’s sack containing his “Major Stars” action figures and took bumps on the figures. Steph De Lander handed Warner a screwdriver, and he missed Cardona, stabbing a door, and then took Radio Silence through the door. It was a good ending to the match.
The IInspiration retained the Knockouts tag titles against Tessa Blanchard & Victoria Crawford. The challengers had Robert Stone in their corner, and this was never explained, as Stone is supposed to be the NXT team and now he’s managing a TNA team. Ash by Elegance was on commentary and is going to give it a try. Jessie McKay had to sell her knee, and let’s say, it was not good. The Elegance Brand ran down and were knocked off the apron by the champions, and they followed with the Idolizer on Crawford for the win. This is not a match you need to reserve time for.
The pay-per-view opened with Mike Santana defeating Charlie Dempsey as he continues to run through the NXT team. This was a solid opener with Santana selling the arm injury from last month, and Dempsey being a great style for a body injury to work on. Santana did a series of Eddy Guerrero tribute spots in El Paso, including a Frog Splash, and won with Spin the Block.
