Dana White has confirmed that he signed a five-year contract extension to continue leading the UFC.
The news was revealed during the post-fight press conference for UFC 323 in Las Vegas on Saturday. Answering a question from Mike Bohn of MMA Junkie, White clarified his contract status after Bohn noted that his previous deal signed in 2019 was set to expire next year.
Bohn: February will be 25 years since you first appeared on UFC television as president, and CEO now. I believe in 2019 you announced you’d sign a seven-year extension for your position. That would bring it to next year. Have you signed anything new since then, or is this a contract year for you?
White: I have been extended. [Laughter.]
Bohn: For how long?
White: That’s a good question. [Aside: Do you know? Five years, yeah?] Another five-year extension. Literally this year.

White, 56, has fronted the promotion since January 2001, when Frank and Lorenzo Fertitta purchased the organization. Initially installed as President, his title has also included Chief Executive Officer since 2023, following the merger of UFC and WWE under TKO Group Holdings.
Prior to his executive career, the Manchester, Connecticut native worked as a boxercise instructor and managed MMA pioneers such as Tito Ortiz and Chuck Liddell. He remained with the promotion following the sale to Endeavor in 2016 and the subsequent formation of TKO.
