John Cena spent Saturday at a women’s wrestling seminar organized by Bayley ahead of his final match.

The WWE veteran visited the inaugural “Lodestone” camp in Florida to observe and advise independent talent. Bayley stated on social media that Cena stayed for eight hours and watched ten matches.

The seminar took place at the Flatbacks training school, owned by Tyler Breeze and Shawn Spears.

Cena reportedly brought a notepad to critique the in-ring work and spoke with every wrestler individually. Bayley, who funded the camp herself, praised Cena for his dedication to the next generation.

And as we’re exactly one week away from his last match, John showed up today. Watched 10 women’s matches, and spent 8 hours with us. LEGIT EIGHT HOURS.

No conversation or piece of advice could’ve impacted me the way he did today, by just showing up. Not just for me, but for each person in that room. This meant the world. I’ll always strive to be what John was today. THE GOAT.

Cena responded to the comments on X.

Pam, you had asked me a while ago how you could help ‘the business’. You have created something that does exactly that. A collaborative environment with the purpose of making everyone in the room better than they were yesterday.

Attitude is infectious, the attitude you’ve created allowed me to be better than I was yesterday. Thank you for all you do. Thanks to the entire group of incredible individuals. It was my honor to be invited into the room.

The multi-day camp featured independent wrestlers including Janai Kai, Dani Mo, and Izzy. Other guest instructors included Charlotte Flair, Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley, Natalya, and Lyra Valkyria.

Cena will face Gunther in his retirement match this Saturday at Saturday Night’s Main Event in Washington, D.C.
