WWE: Unreal, the Netflix reality series which attempts to take viewers behind the scenes with the top professional wrestling brand in the world, is coming back next month.
A second season of the show will drop on January 20, 2026, per an announcement on Wednesday from Netflix.
Netflix has announced that the new season will include: Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, Cody Rhodes, Rhea Ripley, Pat McAfee, Jelly Roll, R-Truth, IYO SKY, Naomi, Chelsea Green, Penta and Lyra Valkyria.
The first season of Unreal, produced by Peyton Manning’s Omaha Productions, NFL Films and Skydance Sports, was published in July of this year. The five-episode season covered WWE’s first episode of Raw on Netflix, then detailed the promotion’s annual Road to Wrestlemania.
Director Chris Weaver said in an interview that a goal of the show was to help introduce new fans to WWE, similar to how Netflix docu-series releases like “Formula 1: Drive To Survive” have grown motorsport.
“They’ve seen how these behind-the-scenes follow docs series on Netflix have sort of propelled leagues and athletes and opened up to new audiences,” he said last summer. “And I think that was a major goal for them is like, hey, let’s see if we can get more people to watch this thing and expand our footprint, expand our audience, our fan base.”
