NXT wrestler Sol Ruca defeated Bayley in a singles match at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Accompanied by Zaria, Ruca utilized her athleticism early to counter Bayley’s grappling with handstand evasions.

Bayley, who was seconded by Lyra Valkyria, grounded Ruca briefly but was forced to regroup after Ruca landed a cartwheel DDT.

The contest saw several near-falls, including a Bayley-to-Belly suplex from the former women’s champion. Bayley later connected with the Rose Plant, but Ruca managed to place her foot on the bottom rope to break the count.

Gaining momentum, Bayley ascended the turnbuckles for a diving elbow drop, but Ruca raised her knees to block the impact. Ruca followed up with the Sol Snatcher, though the momentum sent Bayley to the apron.

The finish came when Bayley attempted a victory roll. Ruca reversed the leverage, holding Bayley’s shoulders down for the three-count.

After the match, the two competitors shook hands and posed with their respective allies, Valkyria and Zaria.
