We’re coming near the end of 2025, but there is still loads of wrestling set to take place before the ball drops in Times Square and we welcome in the new year. If you want something to watch at nearly any hour this weekend, we have you covered with the latest TV Guide.

We have picked out nine cards to look out for over the next few days, including shows from America, Mexico, Japan, and Canada! Here’s what you can watch this weekend, and where you can catch each program.

Friday

NJPW Road to Tokyo Dome Night 1 / 4:30 a.m. ET / NJPW World

Most years, NJPW’s Road to Tokyo Dome tour isn’t much to write home about. But, considering this tour includes some of the very last matches in the storied career of Hiroshi Tanahashi, it feels worth mentioning what’s going down as part of this weekend’s schedule.

Tanahashi has three first-time matchups lined up as part of the tour, meeting a trio of different decorated junior-heavyweight stars before calling his career a wrap in the Tokyo Dome next month.

Today, Tanahashi will go head-to-head with Hiromu Takahashi, the five-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion and current GHC Junior Heavyweight Champion. Out of all the names Tanahashi has never faced in NJPW currently, Takahashi might be the most accomplished and critically acclaimed of all.

They’ll face off in Gunma today as part of the short tour leading up to Wrestle Kingdom, which is now only weeks away.

  • Ryusuke Taguchi, Tiger Mask & Zane Jay vs. Togi Makabe, Tomoaki Honma & Masatora Yasuda
  • Master Wato, Shoma Kato, Toru Yano & YOH vs. Hirooki Goto, YOSHI-HASHI, Boltin Oleg & Tatsuya Matsumoto
  • El Desperado, Katsuya Murashima & Kuukai vs. DOUKI, SHO & Yujiro Takahashi
  • Satoshi Kojima, Taichi, Shota Umino & Yuya Uemura vs. EVIL, Ren Narita, SANADA & Yoshinobu Kanemaru
  • Gedo, Shingo Takagi & Yota Tsuji vs. Callum Newman, Great-O-Khan & Jakob Austin Young
  • Hartley Jackson, Kosei Fujita, Ryohei Oiwa & Zack Sabre Jr. vs. OSKAR, Yuto-Ice, Taiji Ishimori & Daiki Nagai
  • Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Hiromu Takahashi

WWE Friday Night Smackdown / 8 p.m. ET / USA Network

There hasn’t been much announced about this evening’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown, which was taped earlier this week when WWE was in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

However, we do know that tonight’s show includes tag title action, as The Wyatt Sicks will put their belts up against JC Mateo and Tonga Loa of the MFTs. While The Wyatts have faced many teams in Smackdown’s tag division, Solo Sikoa’s faction is a new challenge for them.

With so little known about this evening’s card, it’s hard to get too excited about what WWE has planned this weekend. However, their show the following night in Mexico is quite interesting.

  • Dexter Lumis & Joe Gacy vs. JC Mateo & Tonga Loa (WWE Tag Team Championships)

HOG Winter Warfare / 8 p.m. ET / TrillerTV+

If you’re craving some indy action this evening, check out House of Glory’s Winter Warfare card from the NYC Arena in New York City.

After overcoming names like Cedric Alexander, Dezmond Xavier, and Mike Santana in recent months, Charles Mason will try to keep his reign as HOG Champion alive this Friday against Mustafa Ali. Earlier on the card, the recently returned Allie Katch will try to earn gold against Shotzi Blackheart.

In one of his first appearances since an uneventful WWE run, Lance Anao’i will team up with Zilla Fatu to face The Hardys in a tag title matchup. The undercard will also feature Matt Cardona and Amazing Red.

It’ll all be available live on TrillerTV+ for all subscribers.

  • Matt Cardona vs. Ca$hflow
  • Amazing Red vs. Infamous
  • Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy vs. Zilla Hatu & Lance Anoa’i (HOG Tag Team Championships)
  • Shotzi Blackheart vs. Allie Katch (HOG Women’s Championship)
  • Charles Mason vs. Mustafa Ali (HOG World Championship)

CMLL Dream Match Friday / 9:30 p.m. ET / Youtube or Triller PPV

This weekend’s CMLL Mexico City card has the apt title of “Dream Match Friday,” including a series of bouts which aren’t hard to have high expectations for.

A trio of first-time ever singles bouts will take place on Friday evening, including Claudio Castagnoli defending his CMLL World Heavyweight Championship against Ultimo Guerrero in the main event. A win for Guerrero would kick off his third run with the belt, which he has previously held for a combined over 2,000 days.

I’m personally most excited to see what Mascara Dorada and Mike Bailey could do in the co-main event for Dorada’s World Historic Welterweight Championship. Both have been on a tear as of late, especially Bailey in the Continental Classic. Some magic could be produced in their meeting here.

Paid subscribers to CMLL’s Youtube channel will be able to watch. The broadcast will also be available on TrillerTV PPV with an English feed.

  • 2026 Torneo Cibernetico Rumbo
  • Atlantis Jr. & Xelhua vs. Angel de Oro & Yutani (Torneo Gran Alternativa 2025 Final)
  • Soberano Jr. vs. Kevin Knight
  • Mascara Dorada vs. Mike Bailey (CMLL World Historic Welterweight Championship)
  • Claudio Castagnoli vs. Ultimo Guerrero (CMLL World Heavyweight Championship)

Saturday

AEW Collision Holiday Bash / 2:30 p.m. ET / TNT

The second half of AEW Collision’s Holiday Bash will air this Saturday, with the one-hour pre-taped card taking place at a special start time of 2:30 p.m. ET. The card will be shorter than the usual Saturday offering from AEW, but the quick presentation is jam-packed full of notable clashes.

Continental Classic action will continue with a pair of enticing matchups, as Kazuchika Okada will take on Kevin Knight, and Jack Perry will try for his first tournament win against Mike Bailey.

Since AEW is in Manchester, England this weekend, Mercedes Moné will wager her RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship in an open challenge. Who will answer the call? We’ll find out tomorrow (unless you already read the spoilers online).

  • Mercedes Moné RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship Open Challenge
  • Kazuchika Okada vs. Kevin Knight (Continental Classic Gold League)
  • Mike Bailey vs. Jack Perry (Continental Classic Gold League)
  • Eddie Kingston vs. Nathan Cruz

AAA Guerra de Titanes / 9 p.m. ET / Youtube

WWE-owned AAA will head to Arena Guadalajara this Saturday night for one of the stronger lineups of the weekend. In a card which is roughly a 50-50 mix of AAA and WWE talent, “Guerra de Titanes” has numerous matchups which I believe could deliver.

Before the main event, which will see Rey Mysterio make his first Guadalajara appearance since 2017 when he teams alongside Rey Fenix to face son Dominik Mysterio and El Grande Americano, there are many bouts which have piqued my interest. Among them: Dragon Lee takes on El Hijo del Vikingo, “bouncy” Je’Von Evans faces indy legend Jack Cartwheel and AAA’s Laredo Kid, and Ethan Page runs it back against Dr. Wagner Jr., following up on their solid Halloween Havoc bout.

There’s a lot to like about Saturday night’s show in Guadalajara. Among the reasons: It’ll be streaming 100 percent for free on Youtube.

  • Faby Apache, Lola Vice & Natalya vs. Flammer, Lady Maravilla & La Hiedra
  • El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. vs. Ethan Page (AAA Latin American Championship)
  • Dave The Clown, Murder Clown, Psycho Clown & Pagano vs. Dexter Lumis, Erick Rowan, Joe Gacy & Uncle Howdy (Carnival of Carnage Match)
  • Nino Hamburguesa & Mr. Iguana vs. Bravo Americano & Rayo Americano vs. La Parka & Octagon Jr. vs. Cruz Del Toro & Joaquin Wilde
  • Laredo Kid vs. Je’Von Evans vs. Jack Cartwheel (AAA World Cruiserweight Championship)
  • Dragon Lee vs. El Hijo del Vikingo
  • Rey Mysterio & Rey Fenix vs. El Grande Americano & Dominik Mysterio

DDT RING FINALE 2025 / 9 p.m. ET / Wrestle Universe

What I love about DDT is the company’s duality. On the same card that can be headlined by a high-level title bout, straight-up silly-graps will take place just minutes beforehand.

That’s the case for this weekend’s card in Korakuen Hall, which goes down on Sunday but will air live at a nice late-night spot for U.S. viewers on Saturday. The main event sees KO-D Openweight titleholder Yuki Ueno (a three-time champ who is known to be a consistent main event talent) defend against Takeshi Masada (a fast-rising 24-year-old who has proven his worth quite early into his career).

But lower on the card is a stipulation I have to give some spotlight to: To-y will defend his DDT Extreme Championship against Yasu Urano in the most unique ruleset I have ever heard of. Every two minutes, a fan-post on social media platform X will determine a move or submission which will, for those two minutes, be the only way the match can end (e.x. If a post says “Boston Crab,” both wrestlers can only win via Boston Crab until the next move is decided two minutes later). The deck is stacked against To-y, as the match has a 10-minute time limit, and the belt will change hands if the contest ends in a time limit draw.

I have no clue whether this match will be amazing or terrible. Either way, they sold me on it.

  • Soma Takao, Kazuma Suni & Yuni vs. Tomomitsu Matsunaga, Daichi Satoh & Rukiya
  • Daisuke Sasaki, Hideki Okatani, Demuth & Ilusion vs. Toru Owashi, Danshoku Dieno, Super Sasadango Machine & Kazuki Hirata
  • Shinya Aoki, Yukii Iino & Yukio Naya vs. Kazusada Higuchi, Naomi Yoshimura & Yuki Ishida vs. Chris Brookes, Antonio Honda & Hinata Kasai
  • Minoru Suzuki & Akito vs. Jun Akiyama & Yuya Koroku
  • Yuji Nagata & Sanshiro Takagi vs. HARASHIMA & Kaiesei Takechi
  • To-y vs. Yasu Urano (DDT Extreme Championship) (Lottery Finish Stipulation)
  • MAO & KANON vs. Jun Masaoka & Gaia Hox (KO-D Tag Team Championships)
  • Yuki Ueno vs. Takeshita Masada (KO-D Openweight Championship)

Sunday

NJPW Road to Tokyo Dome Night 2 / 3 a.m. ET / NJPW World

NJPW will return on Sunday night with the second of three Road to Tokyo Dome cards, including a first-time encounter between Hiroshi Tanahashi and El Desperado. Like the Takahashi matchup, it’s surprising that Desperado and Tanahashi have never shared a ring before in one-on-one circumstances. However, I guess that illustrates how strictly NJPW keeps their junior and heavyweight divisions sequestered for singles action.

Desperado played a significant role in the junior heavyweight class this year, holding the division’s belt for nearly 300 days. His past title appearances this year have included solid showings over Taiji Ishimori, Kosei Fujita, and Templario, as well as a critically acclaimed deathmatch win against Jun Kasai. Now, he will get to close out an impressive 2025 by being the third-last opponent for Tanahashi.

  • Kuukai & Tatsuya Matsumoto vs. DOUKI & SHO
  • Katsuya Murashima & Zane Jay vs. Togi Makabe & Tomoaki Honma
  • Master Wato, Shoma Kato, Toru Yano & YOH vs. Satoshi Kojima, Taichi, Masatora Yasuda & Tiger Mask
  • Hirooki Goto, YOSHI-HASHI, Boltin Oleg, Shota Umino & Yuya Uemura vs. EVIL, Ren Narita, SANADA, Yoshinobu Kanemaru & Yujiro Takahashi
  • Daiki Nagai, Hiromu Takahashi & Shingo Takagi vs. Callum Newman, Great-O-Khan & Jakob Austin Young
  • Hartley Jackson, Kosei Fujita, Ryohei Oiwa & Zack Sabre Jr. vs. OSKAR, Yuto-Ice, Taiji Ishimori & Yota Tsuji
  • Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. El Desperado

Greektown Wrestling: 10th Anniversary / 6:30 p.m. ET / TrillerTV+

Toronto-based independent promotion Greektown Wrestling will celebrate its 10th anniversary on Sunday evening, and anyone with a TrillerTV+ subscription is invited to join in on the festivities.

This weekend’s show is headlined by Greektown owner Channing Decker looking to dethrone current promotional champ Joey Janela in a no-rope barbed wire match. Before that, it’ll be a solid mix of local and international talent in action. Among those on the undercard: AEW alum Sonny Kiss, TNA’s Jody Threat, Ortiz, and The Good Brothers.

  • AJ Oullette in action
  • 10th Anniversary Gauntlet Match
  • Karou & Seleziya Sparx vs. Salsa King & Sonny Kiss
  • Nova vs. Dreya Mitchell vs. Notorious Mimi
  • The Protection vs. Jody Threat & Tommy Dreamer
  • Sam Holloway vs. Bill Collier vs. Ortiz (Greektown Cup Match)
  • The League vs. The Good Brothers
