Chuck Taylor has revealed that he recently underwent neck surgery via a post on social media.
The 39-year-old posted photographs to his Instagram account on Saturday.

One image displayed an X-ray that appears to show a fusion of the upper vertebrae. Taylor included a joking caption reading, “Got my neck cut off.”
The specific date of the procedure is not known. However, one of the images shows Taylor wearing a neck brace while at home with his dog.
Taylor last performed in April 2024 in a Parking Lot Brawl against former partner Trent Beretta. It was reported at the time that the match on AEW Rampage was likely his final contest. The wrestler had suffered a fracture that led to osteonecrosis, the death of bone tissue, in his ankle.
Since his transition away from in-ring action, Taylor has worked as a producer and coach for AEW. He has been with the promotion since its launch in 2019.
Before joining AEW, Taylor was a fixture of the independent scene for over a decade. He is a two-time PWG World Champion, holding the title between 2017 and 2019.
