Stardom crowned a new High-Speed Champion on its Christmas Eve card as it marches toward Dream Queendom.
The company streamed its Year-End Xmas Night show free on YouTube and was highlighted by Yuna Mizumori winning the High-Speed Championship from Mei Seira. This was a rematch from September when they wrestled to a ten-minute draw with five minutes added to the time limit for Wednesday’s match.
It concludes Seira’s 514-day reign as champion (the second longest in the history of the championship), winning it in July 2024 from Saya Kamitani.
The main event was a trios contest with Saori Anou teaming with Saya Iida & Aya Sakura to defeat Saya Kamitani, Konami & Natsuko Tora, with Anou scoring the fall on Kamitani before their World of Stardom title match next week.
Mizumori, 36, only began wrestling eight years ago and debuted for Stardom in 2022. She was invited to join Cosmic Angels by Tam Nakano two years ago.
The show drew 1,121 to Korakuen Hall and follows major shows from NJPW and Pro Wrestling NOAH over the past two days, including Hiroshi Tanahashi’s final match at the arena.
Stardom will host a New Blood card on Christmas Day in Shibuya before staging its annual Dream Queendom event next Monday at Ryogoku Kokugikan (Sumo Hall).
