El Clon vs. Angelico

Making his in-ring debut for AEW, the Don Callis Family’s El Clon defeated Angelico in the opening contest. El Clon utilized a springboard DDT and a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker during the match. He secured the victory with a “Portal Bomb” (a modified Blue Thunder Bomb).

Following the match, El Clon attacked Angelico and Serpentico. Komander ran to the ring to make the save, forcing El Clon to retreat.

Timeless Love Bombs vs. Maya World & Hyan

Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa defeated the team of Maya World and Hyan. The finish saw Shirakawa execute a tornillo on Hyan on the floor, allowing Storm to hit the Storm Zero on World inside the ring for the pinfall. As the Timeless Love Bombs celebrated, Marina Shafir appeared in the aisle and stared down Storm.

MegaProblems vs. Rache Chanel & Londyn Dior

Marina Shafir and Megan Bayne defeated Rache Chanel and Londyn Dior in a short match. Bayne dominated the action before slamming Chanel onto Shafir. Shafir applied her Mother’s Milk submission hold to Chanel to force the tap out.

Hechicero vs. Komander

Hechicero defeated Komander to earn a future shot at Mark Briscoe’s TNT Championship. Late in the match, Komander ascended the turnbuckles, but El Clon interfered while the referee checked on Hechicero, pushing Komander off the top rope. Hechicero capitalized with a running knee strike and a slam to secure the pinfall.

JetSpeed vs. Big Bill & Bryan Keith

Kevin Knight and Mike Bailey defeated the team of Big Bill and Bryan Keith. The closing stretch saw Keith execute a superplex on Bailey, leading to a series of near-falls. Bailey eventually took out Bill with a moonsault, while Knight hit a Phenomenal Forearm on Keith. JetSpeed isolated Keith, allowing Knight to hit a UFO Splash for the victory.

Shelton Benjamin vs. Dante Martin

MVP announced that Dante Martin’s original opponent, Scorpio Sky, was unable to compete due to illness. Shelton Benjamin took his place. During the match, Martin was thrown into the barricade, prompting medical officials to check on his ribs. MVP encouraged Martin to quit, but Martin took the microphone and stated his mother “didn’t raise a bitch.”

Martin returned to the ring and connected with a flying DDT, but Benjamin eventually overpowered him. Benjamin hit a rising knee strike followed by a superkick to win the match.

After the match, MVP praised Martin’s effort before turning his attention to Jon Moxley. MVP stated that while Moxley is driven by emotion and a desire for revolution, The Hurt Syndicate is driven by money. He warned that Benjamin would hurt Moxley on Dynamite.

Darby Allin vs. Wheeler Yuta

In the main event, Darby Allin defeated Wheeler Yuta despite significant outside interference. Marina Shafir interfered early, tripping Allin, which led to her ejection from ringside. When she refused to leave, Toni Storm ran down to brawl with her. Daniel Garcia then emerged from the crowd to attack Allin with a lariat on the floor.

Allin recovered to hit Yuta with two Coffin Drops. He then applied the Scorpion Deathlock, forcing Yuta to submit.

Other Notes

  • Eddie Kingston & Ortiz: Kingston addressed the crowd, stating that he does what he wants. He credited Ortiz as his “right hand” and noted that Ortiz’s return has kept him from quitting the company. Big Bill and Bryan Keith watched on a monitor backstage, mocking the duo. Later in the show, the Grizzled Young Veterans cut a promo promising to break Kingston and Ortiz down.

  • Stokely Hathaway Update: Tony Schiavone read a letter from Stokely Hathaway regarding his injuries. Hathaway requested silence from the crowd and asked for donations to cover his $400,000 medical bills. Schiavone crumpled the letter and threw it away.

  • Sammy Guevara & Bandido: In a backstage interview, Sammy Guevara challenged Bandido to a match for the ROH World Championship on Dynamite. Bandido accepted, asking why Guevara was so angry.
