One-half of #DIY might be near an exit from the WWE roster.

Bodyslam.net reported on their Patreon page this week that Tommaso Ciampa isn’t expected to re-sign with WWE once his current deal expires.

The report noted that it’s unclear whether Ciampa’s possible exit comes due to his intention to wrestle elsewhere or if he plans to step away from the ring after two decades.

The 40-year-old former NXT Champion and long-time tag division vet has been under contract with WWE since 2016 and currently works as part of the Smackdown roster.

Ciampa last wrestled on a pre-taped December 19 episode of Smackdown, coming up short alongside tag partner Johnny Gargano against Carmelo Hayes and Ilja Dragunov.

Gargano was notably seen on TV this week in singles action without Ciampa present.
