Queen Aminata shared a positive contract update this week.

While currently out of the ring due to a neck injury, Aminata announced in a recent vlog that her AEW contract has been extended until February 2027.

“On top of all the great news and great feelings, AEW also extended my beautiful, juicy contract until February 2027,” she said. “Bro, what can I say at this point? I’m happy. Even though my neck is messed up right now, I can’t wrestle, I am very happy and very very motivated. I can’t wait to go back.”

Aminata was a busy member of AEW’s women’s division in 2025, working 26 matches for them. Last year included an appearance at All In: Texas, a feud with Thekla, and a brief tag alliance with Jamie Hayter.

Aminata has been out of the ring since October, when neck issues prevented her from being cleared to compete. The injury forced her to withdraw from ROH’s Women’s Pure Championship tournament in the final quarter of the year.
